Yes, both the base and top coat need to be cured under an LED/UV lamp.
Is the primer necessary and does it need to be cured?
No, the primer is not necessary if you use the base coat, but the primer does provide an extra strong hold for the overall manicure. You first apply primer, then the base coat, and then the polygel.
Also, the primer does not need to be cured under a lamp; it dries automatically within 30 seconds.
You can also apply the primer for other types of manicures such as dipping powder, gellac, nail polish, etc.
What does matte top coat do exactly?
The matte top coat ensures that your color becomes beautifully matte, giving new dimensions to your manicures. You then replace the topcoat with the matte top coat.
The matte top coat needs to be cured under an LED/UV lamp.
What is slip solution good for?
Slip solution is essential for applying polygel. It allows you to let your creativity run free. Polygel is and remains a "gel" which means it is moldable and needs to be cured. Like other types of gel, it is slightly sticky so it can adhere. With slip solution, you can effortlessly spread and shape the gel without it sticking to your multitool or brushes.
In addition, you can use slip solution excellently as a degreaser after preparing your nail to promote adhesion and to clean any sticky residues after the manicure.
What are nail tips and dual forms for?
These are used to extend your own nail and to quickly create the perfect shape and curvature.
They are not necessary, but recommended. If you prefer a short manicure, we advise using little gel so that the length does not become too long. If the length is still too long, simply trim the polygel nail to your desired length after curing. The tip ensures a beautiful shape and even rounding.
